Just B Yoga is a donation-based yoga and tai chi studio in the heart of REO Town. We’re gritty and real. We are Lansing from the ground up. Our mission is to extend the reach of arts that are healing for body, mind and spirit into communities that need them with the understanding that a healthy lifestyle is not exclusively for the affluent or already fit. It’s for EVERY body.
Our marketing/advertising intern will help build this brand name and extend its message deeper into the community.
Description: Develop and implement marketing strategy with owner that accurately reflects the mission of the company and delivers results with new students and corporate clients. The strategy will deliver a consistent message across different audiences and markets. The strategy and campaign will be cost-effective and creative. Need an “outside the box” thinker and risk-taker.
Radio and video media
Retail product development
Prior experience in media/marketing preferred. Please supply examples of prior campaigns/products.
Demonstrate innovation and creativity with ideas and execution plan.
Knowledge of yoga/tai chi/meditation preferred.
Knowledge of social media is needed but it is NOT the focus of the strategy. This campaign MUST rely on multiple levels of media to be effective, with emphasis on shoe-leather delivery.
Goals: Grow students. Grow Buzz
Stipend: A modest stipend will be offered quarterly, to be negotiated with the intern.
WARNING – the owner of this studio has more than 20 years experience in professional mainstream media. The expectation of quality is high, critical thinking is a MUST and attention to detail is mandatory.
