Connie Varma

I’ve been practicing and teaching yoga since 2003, after hailing from a martial arts background in Tae Kwon Do and Budokon.

I found yoga to be more beneficial for proper alignment and the longevity of my body than the relatively ‘hard’ approach of the martial arts, and it became my primary focus as I learned more about the postures.

After several knee injuries, surgeries, and practicing through arthritis and other physical obstacles, I teach with the intention of showing new and beginning students that if I can do yoga, you can!
