(Pardon the temporary non-yoga post)
I confess that I pulled over off of Oakland Avenue yesterday to take these photos.
I thought I’ve been noticing geese flying over my loft in Old Town a lot lately. But now I see they seem to be squatting on the Grand River.
This definitely seems like a LOT of geese. Are they plotting a takeover? They seem to be assembling large numbers. Is an invasion imminent? A precursor to a Canada geese Kamakazi die-off like the blackbirds down south and now the crabs?
“40,000 devil crabs wash up on Kent Coast.”
Don’t say I didn’t warn you.
Prepare. Make peace with your maker.
The end is near.
Just B.
Peace Out.

Wasn't it spectacular!!! We saw them today at 3:25 p.m. heading in from the east and landing on the river near the fish ladder. It was so amazing to watch and to listen to!! We rolled down the car windows so we could hear their sweet honking. There must have been clsoe to 100 of them in 4 or 5 different "V" formations. Oh to be a goose!! I am so thrilled to share this simple pleasure with you Belinda and if this is an invasion…bring it on. We need more WILD life in this city!!
They've been gathering like this for about a week now. I love seeing them fly. I'm glad they haven't dropped a goose-sized bomb on me though! I'm sure that's quite messy!
