Today is the first day of a new Lansing yoga experiment.
A part of our mission is to make yoga not only affordable but accessible in Lansing.
So we’re taking it to the streets and bringing yoga to your neighborhood.
The Free Community class will now rotate to different locations around town.
The schedule this month?
March 9, Grace United Methodist Church.
Many thanks to the church and some special folks. Barb, Carrie and Kathie Dunbar for helping Just B Yoga find this space.
March 16, Neighborhood Empowerment Center.
This is at the old School for the Blind. It’s in northwest Lansing. It’s been recently renovated and is a beautiful location. Many thanks to Lance and Katherine Draper for the opportunity to bring Just B Yoga here.
The roaming yoga format also helps alleviate the space issue we’ve been running into at the Just B Yoga studio because of the crowds that have been showing up. We are packed to the gills there and we don’t have room to STRETCH! What kinda yoga is that?
We will still be at the studio on the 1st Wednesdays. It’s home, right? And I’m so thankful to all who have committed to coming, no matter the tight fit. Some of you have even started coming 30 minutes early just to get a spot!
I hope you all will join us with Just B Yoga Around Town. Just B is about #Lovelansing and accessibility.
We will be seeking new locations. So if you have landmark ideas, architectural gems or just fun spots around town, let us know. We will take a yoga tour around Lansing and get to know our town and our neighbors.
Yoga = union = community.
