Just B Yoga is ushering in the change of season this Summer Solstice with 108 Sun Salutations and Sweat in an open field.
We will hold our traditional 108 Sun Salutations in the great outdoors with Jeremy Arndt sharing live music at Green Eagle Farm in Onondaga. We will join in preparing and participating in a sweat lodge conducted with Ojibwe traditions. Then there will be a vegetarian potluck to celebrate the spirit of community and the season.
We are honored to be invited to hold this event at Green Eagle Farm, owned by Steve and Chela Ashley. These stewards of the earth produce fresh organic produce that you can find at the Allen Street Farmer’s Market and the Meridian Farmer’s Market.
What a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the earth and seasons on this glorious property that provides so much nourishment and is cared for sustainably and organically.

Here’s a video about Green Eagle Farm.
Jeremy Arndt is a gifted musician who is a Michigan native living in Grand Rapids after touring the globe learning and sharing indigenous music and instruments.
He has shared his music with Just B Yoga live several times and gives us permission to play his music during class.
Here’s Greg Kemppainen, who will lead the sweat lodge. He’s preparing to bless the lodge for a sweat we held last fall.
Here’s last year’s lodge. A new one has been constructed because this one collapsed under the weight of the winter snow.
We hope you join to celebrate the earth, the season, changes in our lives and our spirits together.
