See? Good things did come out of the Kevin Costner movie “The Postman”.
Costner says the new president “His name is, uh… Richard Starkey. From Maine. He has a saying. ‘Things are getting better, getting better all the time.’ “
Things are definitely getting better and better at Just B Yoga.
The Lansing Lowdown
Watch WLNS tonight around 5 p.m. and Friday morning for the Lansing Lowdown. They came and interviewed me at the studio Wednesday night and even got a little of the beginning of the yoga class. We are talking about the benefits of yoga, why donation-only or free and how Just B Yoga got started! When the video is available I’ll embed it here too! Many thanks to Nicole Sclafani with LCC the Link and Erin Slayter of The Sweaty Mouse for making this happen.
A Just B first
We had a record-breaking class at the Wednesday night free yoga class. We had 22 students in the studio for the class, at least four new faces.
We actually had to turn away two or three new students because there was no more room! I’m so sorry to them. Please come back and come early!
Amazing energy in the room. Lots of fun even though it was tight!
(Tried to get everyone in the shot to the right, but there was not enough room to back up. There’s 19 of us in the photo to the left though!)
New classes at Just B are starting tonight!!
So excited about Yoga XL starting tonight. If you think you can’t do yoga because it’s only for tiny bodies or people made of rubber bands, think again and get into Connie’s class.
Yoga XL starts at 7:15 p.m. and it’s for all body types – and the bigger the better. Read “Yoga is for every ‘body'”.
Salsa dancing is starting Saturday. We’ll have classes on Saturday and Monday. They are taught by Danielle Cabule, a Lansing native of amazing skill and training. Come get your swerve on. You don’t need to bring a partner. Just bring your smiling face!
